Riverside, CA - January 5, 2006 --Keller Williams Riverside in conjunction with Keller Williams Cares, invites you to participate in a funding effort to support families who have lost their homes in the recent hurricanes in the Gulf Cost
The Fundraiser "Cow Chip Bingo" fundraisers to support the Katrina victims
When: Saturday, January 21, 2006 Where: Vacant lot, north side of Van Buren Blvd, near Santee Fountains, between Dauchy Ave & Wood Rd in Woodcrest-Riverside Time: Festivities start at 10am
How Chow Chip Bingo works:
1. A 100 foot by 100 foot field will be roped and marked on 4 sides. 2. The ropes will be marked every 1 foot on all 4 sides-the field won\'t be chalked. 3. You cannot select your squares-they will be randomly drawn & assigned once all sold. 4. There will be a master grid poster on display so you can see where your squares are. 5. 3 "well- fed" cows will be led around the field, not knowing who\'s "square" they\'re on. 6. The "well-fed" cows will sooner or later have to "do their thing." 7. The first 3 "plops" that land on the field will be our winners. They could come from one of the cows, or 3 different cows. There will only be one winner per square-in other words a cow could plop 3 times without moving, but that square would still only win one of the prizes. If the "plop" lands on or between 2 or more squares, the square with the most "plop" wins. 8. With each plop, 3 judges will declare the winner. 9. The first plop winner will receive $1,000, 2nd place, $500, and 3rd place, $250. 10. Once all 3 winners have been declared, we will give the hard working cows a standing ovation!! 11. Everyone has a great time-the cows love it-and we help families in need!!!!
100% of the funds raised will be donated to the Katrina victims through Keller Williams Cares, a non-profit division of Keller Williams Realty.
Tickets for the Fundraiser are $20 each. Your contribution is tax deductible and 100% goes to the needy families. "Keller Williams Cares" is a charitable organization, Tax ID #251913048
